My Everyday Skincare Routine for Glowing Skin

natural glow

Clear and healthy skin is the best feeling and the best look, in my opinion. I like makeup but I simply prefer a clean face with a natural glow. That is why I take pride in my easy, morning and nightly skincare routine. Taking care of your skin is crucial, especially if you like to wear makeup daily. The top needs for a clean and glowing face are a gentle cleanser, face mist, serum, face mask and moisturizer. Once you have these down, you will forever have great skin. Here are the products I use every day, morning and night, to glow on, listed in order from beginning to end.

Glossier's Milky Jelly Cleanser or Drunk Elephant's Beste No.9 Jelly Cleanser

MORNING: Both of these are gentle on skin, tough on excess oil and makeup and fragrance free. Fragrances added to skincare products only harm your skin. Go for the toxic-free and/or vegan products. Both of theses cleansers go on skin smoothly and leave you feeling extra clean. Massage in for a minute, rinse with warm water and then rinse with a couple splashes of cold water to close your pores. Be sure to pat dry! Your face is a treasure.

Herbivore's Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist

MORNING: Spray this refreshing face mist on after you washing your face. You will feel so fresh and so clean, clean. You can also spray this on for a midday pick-me-up. Be sure to let air dry completely before applying anymore skincare products.

Glossier's Super Pure

NIGHT: I save this magical beauty serum for nights only. Your skin repairs itself while you sleep so this product is perfect for your nightly skincare routine. Super Pure has 5% niacinamide and zinc that work to eliminate redness, calm breakouts and improve skin texture. Using the dabber, apply five drops to your face: forehead, nose, chin, both cheeks. Gently pat into skin. They also have Super Glow and Super Bounce, both amazing. I use these when needed but not everyday.

Glossier's Face Mask Duo

NIGHT: Your face works its magic at night by repairing and recharging while you sleep. I love these masks -- there are two. The Mega Greens Galaxy Pack mask draws out skin impurities with ingredients like leafy greens, kaolin clay and antioxidants. The Moisturizing Moon Mask applies moisture to the max with hyaluronic acid and uses licorice root and lemon to gently brighten and even out complexion. Use each mask for 20 minutes for a total of 40 minutes of relaxation.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Polish

NIGHT: I believe in daily exfoliation. First Aid Beauty offers a super gentle exfoliator with their Facial Radiance Polish. It doesn't irritate or harm skin. I use this every night and then follow up with Super Pure and moisturizer.

Drunk Elephant Protini™ Polypeptide Moisturizer

MORNING/NIGHT: You just need a strong moisturizer. I have combination skin, depending on the season. I try and moisturize with a strong but light moisturizer and Drunk Elephant nailed it with this product. Use in the morning on a clean face or at night before going to bed.

Herbivore Phoenix Cell Regenerating Facial Oil

MORNING/NIGHT: Another beautifully lightweight but powerful moisturizer. I normally avoided facial oils due to the fact I thought it would make my face greasy but I was wrong! This facial oil penetrates into your skin instead of sitting on top of it while providing a silky appearance to your face. Another perk, its vegan.

These are my tried and true go-tos when it comes to facial care that makes you glow. I continue to try new products that fit my skins needs. Remember what you put in your body, is just as important as what you put on the surface. So, eat fresh fruits and vegetables often and drink at least 8 cups of water, a day. Shop my faves by clicking on the product name -- I linked each item for your convenience! Any other skincare products you live by that I should know about?
