
Prepackaged seasonings are usually full of nasty additives and too much salt. Creating your own allows you to be in control of the spice level and amount of salt. My recipe is somewhat spicy so feel free to adjust as needed.
PREP TIME: 5 MINS
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 tbsp of chili powder
- 1 tsp of cumin
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 1/2 tsp of oregano
- 1/4 tsp of pink Himalayan salt
- 1/4 tsp of black pepper
- 1/4 tsp of crushed red pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Put measured spices into a small mixing bowl and mix well.
- Use in ground beef, ground turkey, ground chicken or simply as a seasoning for any meal.
*Double or triple the recipe to store in mason jar or airtight container for up to 6 months.
